About Us

Who are M D Smiths?

Based in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire, our office is centrally located giving ease of access to motorway networks that serve major cities of the UK. We operate a Nationwide service for a number of our clients meaning we are never too far away no matter your location. 

We began our journey in 2016, predominantly as electrical contractors. 


As our client base grew, so did the need to adapt the services we provide, stepping us into the world of not only Property Maintenance, but Commercial Refurbishment works. 


We take pride in getting to know our clients well, which means expectations are clear and there is confidence in our ability to perform to high standards. 


We have been fortunate to build lasting relationships with our clients, who have supported us and helped us grow into the company we are today. 


Our Management Team alone have over 75 years experience in the electrical and property refurbishment industry. This level of expertise is brought to every project or task we complete for our clients. 


We are NICEIC Approved Contractors, members of Electrical Contractors Association and CHAS Accredited, meaning our clients have peace of mind that they are safe in our hands, and Health and Safety requirements are being met. 


We are disciplined in nature, have strong health and safety practises and are meticulous about quality. We strive daily to bring cost effective solutions to our clients, without compromising on the standard of our works.
